Melting Point Apparatus Automatic is a miniature furnace type apparatus having temperature range upto 350⁰C and 4 digit LED display.It also has resolution of 1⁰C , capacity of 1 sample and Capillary dimention of 1.4mm, Its temperature control unit is microprocessor controlled closed loop PID and having power supply of 220-230V AC,frequency 50Hz.The Melting temperature of the sample remains displayed on the panel till reset button is pressed. Major advantage of Melting Point Apparatus Automatic is that all the selection of programming is fully protected from power failure including “hold” action of melting temperature.Once the start action is initiated,it will find out the melting point of the sample even if power failure happens multiple time. Melting Point Apparatus Automatic has specifically been developed for determining the melting point of solids and boiling point of liquids in different industrial processing.
It consists of miniature furnace with auto controlled heating rate arrangement, an air circulating arrangement and a digital temperature display unit.There is auto detection of opto-coupled light transmission system.When sample melts, photodiode detects the signal and melting temperature gets displayed automatically.
