The Kjeldhal distillation unit is used to perform nitrogen analysis and protein determination according to Kjeldahl method in food & feed industry and other applications in environmental and chemical industries. It separates the nitrogen from the digested mixture by steam distilling. It also extracts ammonia from the alkaline solution. It traps all the nitrogen, eliminating the risk of loss. It dilutes the sample. In this way, it’s easier to detect all the ammonia. The Kjeldhal distillation unit comes complete with mild steel tubular stand and is provided with one heating box, brass condenser rack with water circulation system and condenser clamps.
Heater box is also provided with top to receive the kjeldhal flasks and also with electric heating elements of 500 watts each connected through individual on/off switches and energy regulators. The Kjeldhal distillation unit is supplied with or without glass parts.
