Nessler cylinder popularly known as color comparing either color comparison cylinders, respectively. These cylinders are laboratory tubes with a proper fixed amount of volume. As far as, its shape and structure is concern, it is made up of glass and does hold a plane shaped bottom. On normal, the size of this Nessler cylinder is assumed to be of 100ml. The use of this cylinder is for analyzing colorimetric. Cylinder Nessler is kind of similar to ‘Hehnera Cylinder’.
They are slightly different from this cylinder (Hehnera), like Nessler Cylinder is scaled to full height. These cylinders are made in use for comparison between colors of a standard and sample solution. The standard solution, generally, is being made in Nessler Solution. In halide tests, a visual comparison is needed, to made difference between the colour comparison, and turbitity comparison.
